Ruben Sandique, QA engineer

I find the bugs before your users do.

Manual, automation, and API testing for web apps. I write bug reports that developers can fix on the first read.

QA Team Lead at Graphite Education. Open for freelance projects.

About

I'm Ruben Jr. A. Sandique, an Information Technology graduate with more than five years in technical support, customer service, and software quality assurance. I also write HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript, so I know what developers see on their side of a bug.

Today I'm the QA Team Lead at Graphite Education. I lead testing, mentor the team, and keep school software stable. I automate test runs with Cypress and Playwright, track work in Jira, and test features like Parent Portal, Finance, Admission, and Formstack. I also run load and stress tests on AI-powered APIs and check AI output against the original documents.

I also test the layers under the screen: REST APIs with Postman, data checks in SQL databases, SMS and telephony integrations, and AI-powered features inside web portals.
